Alyvia Williams is a name that Clinton High School soccer fans are familiar with. As she enters her senior year, Alyvia brings leadership, talent, and a deep sense of purpose to the Red Tornadoes. She holds down the back line as a dependable center back, while also stepping into outside back roles when needed. Whether she’s suiting up for Clinton or West Side Alliance, her club team, Alyvia is known for her grit, intelligence, and relentless work ethic.
For Alyvia, soccer is more than just a sport—it’s her sanctuary. “No matter what’s going on in life… the moment I step onto the field, everything else fades,” she says. That escape has become her motivation not just to play, but to grow, both as an athlete and a person.
Her greatest influence? God. Alyvia says her faith fuels her purpose: “When I win, I give Him the glory. When I lose, I lean on Him for peace and direction.” She also credits her APUSH teacher, Mrs. Olney, for showing her what it means to lead with compassion and authenticity—lessons Alyvia carries into every game and every relationship.
Alyvia’s journey in soccer hasn’t always been easy. Her success comes from consistent training, learning through failures, and trusting the process. While she has had her share of victories—like a hard-fought win over rival Weatherford—her proudest moments stem from her involvement in FCA, where she’s found opportunities to grow spiritually and give back through service.
Off the field, Alyvia stays just as busy. She serves as Vice President of Student Council, is active in National Honor Society, Key Club, and is an FCA officer. She also finds motivation through @thefutbolfactory_ok on social media, staying connected to Oklahoma’s soccer community.
Training with standout players like Aalyiah Lopez sharpens her game, and she finds pride in teammates like her sister, Jaycee Williams, Clinton’s underrated goalie who consistently comes through in the clutch.
For Alyvia, playing for Clinton is deeply personal. “It’s where my dad grew up,” she says. “I feel like I’m representing my family and everyone who supports the Red Tornadoes.” With heart, faith, and hustle, Alyvia Williams is more than just a defender—she’s a leader on and off the field.
