

VYPE: What are your goals for the rest of the season?
Matthew: My goals are to play to the best of my capabilities and to leave a mark on the tradition we have at Clinton.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Matthew: The most fun I’ve had is the team dinners after road wins.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Matthew: My favorite teacher was my art teacher I had last year, his name was Coach Ford. He was really chill and relaxed and never got mad.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Matthew: My favorite athletic memory would be when we won the 2021 4A State championship against Tuttle 35-0.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Matthew: A player that inspired me was Bradon Snider. He taught me a lot and showed me the standard on being a part of Clinton Football.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Matthew: My favorite part is that we all treat each other like family.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Matthew: I would go to Hawaii and bring my whole family.
VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing football?
Matthew: I first played football in 2nd grade with flag football. I started tackle football in 5th grade.
