Clinton athlete Lillian Lime spoke with VYPE to talk about who she is.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
To qualify for state again in cross country and to keep improving my basketball skills.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The midnight run in Merritt for cross country. We had glow-sticks on us and I was able to watch the sunset as I ran. It was a calm and fun meet.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
Mrs. Miller because she was always happy and uplifting every day as well as relatable.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
The moment Coach Pittman told me I qualified individually for state in cross country.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
Paige Lloyd left a good impression on me because even if she was sick or hurt she played through it and worked hard on the court and with that she inspired me to play to my fullest. My favorite part about being on the team is making each other better on or off the court.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
I would go to California to see the beaches again and I would take my little sister Kyiah because she’s my built-in best friend.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
I would probably give back to my parents and buy things for them or take my little sister on a shopping spree
VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
I am in HOSA and we are currently bringing awareness regarding mental health to the community.
VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?
HOSA which is Health Occupations Students of America, the reason I am in HOSA is to open opportunities in the medical field I plan to pursue.
VYPE: Are you involved in academic excellence activities such as the National Honor Society, Student Council, or other academic clubs?
I am currently not in any academic clubs as of now because of my schedule but I do wish to be in one in the future.
