OUTLOOK
Clinton returns a solid group of players from a team that went 17-19 last season under head coach Whitney Misak. Five seniors – pitcher/shortstop Kambree Davis, catcher/first baseman Kat Meacham, outfielder Brianna Denney, first baseman Rylin Hall and third baseman/catcher Baleigh Giblet – will provide experience and leadership for the Red Tornadoes. Davis is a VYPE Top 100 nominee, while Meacham and Giblet are other standouts. “Solid group of girls that have played many years together at a high level, so they have a good chance of putting together leadership and talent,” Misak said. Juniors expected to make contributions are Grace Meacham (outfielder/third baseman), Addyson Littke (second baseman/pitcher), Addison Newcomb (outfielder) and Kari Begay (outfielder). Also returning is sophomore outfielder Audrina Trout. Freshman who will play roles include Paige Pugh (shortstop/first baseman), Reese Giblet (third baseman/first baseman), Marley Gamboa (outfielder) and Makayla Stennis (outfielder).
